Welcome

Here's my "why" for this blog

I’ve been in huge debate on whether I should journal my experience for the world to see or keep it close to me. I decided to journal about it because I have seen the positive effects of sharing one’s story through my clients’ eyes. Many clients have shared with me the release they have felt when they put their story into words, no matter the media platform they used (a personal journal, an instagram post, a tick-tock, or a blog). In the past two weeks, I have felt the love and support of the people around me. Everyone asks me, “how are you doing?” How am I supposed to answer that question? I’m being flooded with emotions and thoughts - which one do you want? And it changes moment by moment! So here is a place where you can really see how I am doing.

As a disclosure, this place is for me to be authentic with how I’m feeling. I’m not going to censor myself or keep from writing my truth because this is my story. My beliefs might not align with yours and that is okay. My goal in writing my story is not to force anyone to believe in what I believe or for people to challenge me in my own beliefs. This is just a place to hold my story and for you to witness it.

I’ve also learned how individualized cancer is and how the treatment plans vary depending on each person: their diagnosis, age, other health conditions, type of of cancer, how long it’s been there, size, etc. So if you have breast cancer and reading this blog, hold what’s true to you and follow your own intuition on what your body needs to beat this beast. We can do it!
